In December of 2004 Ike left Sweden and moved to Vancouver, Canada to allow his musical career to grow. After just 5 days in Vancouver Ike was offered the honor of being the new resident DJ at Vancouver’s most prestigious after hours club, "Gorg-O-Mish". This world class club allowed Ike to be creative in his sets that usually spanned over 7 hours in length! These long nights at “Gorg-O-Mish” really helped Ike to hone his skills as a DJ. After over 2 years in Vancouver Ike decided it was time to relocate in order to get new inspiration, and ended up in Los Angeles. The move has already paid off for Ike as he has come in contact with several new producers and DJs to work with. His talent as a DJ has now captured the attention of Feedback-Bookings. Feedback-Bookings will now handle all of Ike's promotions and bookings.

In addition to his success as a DJ, Ike's productions have also caught the ears of major international DJs from around the world. In 2005 Ike together with Tyler Johnson and Neil Barber of Rhythm Code did a collaboration EP called "Extended Trip" under the moniker "Sonic Union" .“Extended Trip” was remixed by Swedish talent Daniel Sandberg of "Bastards of Funk". After this first release, Ike kept the "Sonic Union" project alive while forming a partnership with Daniel Sandberg to produce the highly successful EP, "Transatlantic Collaboration EP" on "Morrison Recordings". The tracks on Transatlantic Collaboration EP” received huge support from DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Papa and Satoshie Tomiie. Bastards Of Funk

Sweden based “Bastards of Funk”, started his musical career in the early 90's, with interest in music rooted in both the classical and electronic realm. The interest accelerated when he discovered the sound of artists like Laurent Garnier, Dave Angel and Carl Cox. Their syncopated, rhythmic music inspired him to pursue the art of producing, but also trying to get the music out to a broader public.

Between 1997-2000 he hosted a weekly radio show, called ”Deepsessions” which was the perfect channel to spread electronic music in all shapes and forms, as well as getting ideas for productions of his own. This inevitably led to start Djing at local clubs and also playing music live. Today, however, the studio consists of a computer and a controller, hence the name “Bastards of Funk”. It's a form of symbiosis. Supply the hardware with ideas and they assist you in making them real!

What started out as a pure hobby is something more today, "It's part of who I am". "Music is something so fundamental in our lives, yet the complexity of sound generation is incredible. What essentially is nothing more than simple mathematical "building blocks" at the beginning, builds up to something that can be felt and enjoyed by so many. That idea still makes me interested in doing what I do."

With over 30+ releases under his belt, including previous projects, it has led to appearances on both the Swedish radio and television with videos aired on MTV, as well as playing live at the biggest festivals in Sweden. The DJ/live performances has taken him to play at the same stages such as Eddie Amador, Cevin Fisher, Aril Brikha and Jesper Dahlback, to name a few.
