Joel Armstrong

Joel got into electronic music around ‘94 listening to 2 Unlimited and Ace of Base and that wonderful CD, Dance Mix ’95!…which wasn’t really in ’94, I guess. His main influence has been his close friendship with Colin & Justin of Shiloh. Music on the progressive angle has been his passion for a number of years now, much of it tinged with a bit of an Asian feel, credited to the 15 years he spent growing up in Indonesia.

This year sees Joel starting to make his mark in the music scene. After being a small feature in one of Shiloh’s Proton Radio sets, he was approached by up and coming record label, Babylon Records to sign a lucrative record deal that would make Joel millions and millions of dollars…. Ok no, but he did sign up with Babylon. And he lived happily ever after. Then Proton Radio expressed interest in signing one of Joel’s tracks, which made Joel happier to the max! He was even happier awesome to the max that his bio was two paragraphs long.
